A Washington State Patrol trooper arrested a driver on suspicion of DUI early Saturday morning, Aug. 2, 2025, after finding the man passed out behind the wheel on the wrong side of the road in Kent.
According to a Tweet from WSP District 2, the trooper encountered the vehicle around 4 a.m. on West Valley Highway at South 277th Street.
The driver was asleep in the car, which was stopped in an oncoming lane.
He was taken into custody without incident.
No injuries were reported, and the car was removed from the roadway.
