Firefighters quickly knocked down a vegetation fire that spread to a vacant building in Kent on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 17, 2025, according to Puget Sound Fire.
The fire was reported in the 10100 block of SW 256th Street (map below), in the building where Yuen Lei was formerly located.
Crews extinguished the flames in about 20 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
