A quick response from Sound Transit deputies and Kent Police led to the arrest of an armed robbery suspect at the Kent Sounder Station on Tuesday, Sept. 16, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said two Sound Transit officers saw a Kent Police officer chasing the suspect at the station and stepped in to help take him into custody.
Additional deputies and a K9 unit later recovered a second gun and identified two other suspects connected to the case.
The Sheriff’s Office credited the teamwork between agencies for bringing the situation under control and removing weapons from the area.
