Return your signed ballot by Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

After what seems like a long election season, voter guides and ballots are in the mail, and King County Elections is opening up ballot drop boxes this morning. Use the voter guide to learn more about the candidates and the issues before voting and signing your ballot. You will receive two voter guides, one from King County Elections and one from the Secretary of State.

Return your signed, completed ballot by one of these methods by 8 PM on Tuesday, November 7:

  1. Drop off in a designated drop box. In Kent, there are two, one at Kentridge High School (12430 SE 208th Street, Kent, WA 98031) and one outside the parking garage at the Regional Justice Center (401 4th Avenue N., Kent, WA 98032). Click here for a complete list of drop boxes and to get directions.
  2. Mail to King County Elections in the envelope provided. Be sure to use a first class stamp and mail it by Election Day, November 7.
  3. Visit one of four accessible voting centers to vote in person, if you need assistance with your ballot. The King County Elections office (919 SW Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057) in Renton is the closest center to Kent.

What to do if you did not receive your ballot: If you do not receive your ballot by October 23, contact King County Elections for a replacement.

Track your ballot: Want to track your ballot after you’ve submitted it? Complete this online form to find out where your ballot is in the process.
