In celebration of Shop Small Saturday, Kent Downtown Partnership, a Shop Small Neighborhood Champion, kicks off the holiday season with a Yeti Scavenger Hunt at participating downtown businesses from Nov. 29 – Dec. 31 to encourage shopping local.

This holiday season, embark on your self-guided adventure which brings the community together and supports Kent’s small businesses.

The festive Yeti Scavenger Hunt runs Nov. 29 – Dec. 31, with tiny yetis popping up all over historic downtown just waiting to be discovered!

The Yeti Scavenger Hunt is free and family-friendly offering a fun way to enjoy the holidays while supporting the unique businesses that make downtown Kent special. Whether you’re a local resident or visiting for the first time, the scavenger hunt promises excitement for all ages.

How to Participate

  1. Pick up Your Passport: Starting on Shop Small Saturday, November 29, participants can pick up a passport at any participating business OR download it here and print at home (Downtownkentwa.com)  
  2. Hunt for Yetis: Explore downtown and be on the lookout for tiny yetis hidden inside participating businesses.
  3. Get Your Passport Stamped: When you find a yeti, let a staff member know—they’ll stamp your passport.  Each yeti you find earns a stamp!
  4. Complete Your Passport: Once your passport is filled with stamps, submit it online at our website for a chance to win exciting prizes from downtown Kent businesses.
  5. Prizes: Completed passports will be entered into a drawing for fantastic prizes from local businesses.
