The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man killed Sunday at a Park and Ride on West James Street as 79-year-old George Herbert Mattison of Kent.
Mattison died of multiple gunshot wounds, and his death has been classified as a homicide, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
As we previously reported, Kent Police responded to the shooting on Sunday night, Nov. 23 at the Park and Ride located at 902 West James Street.
The incident occurred outdoors, and the investigation remains ongoing.
The Medical Examiner’s Office listed the Kent Police Department as the investigating agency.
