The Kent Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual “State of the Chamber” event Tuesday, Jan. 6, bringing together business and community leaders to reflect on 2025 and look ahead to 2026.

The event will run from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Mt. Constance/Mt. Olympus room at Highline College, and is one of the chamber’s largest gatherings each year, according to the organization.

Outgoing Board President Yvonne Walker of Heritage Bank will reflect on the past year, while incoming Board President Raj Sidhu of inTech Consulting will outline priorities and opportunities heading into 2026.

The program will also include a discussion focused on the 2026 Soccer World Championship and what Kent area businesses should be doing now to prepare for the anticipated economic and logistical impacts of the global sporting event.

Chamber officials described the gathering as an opportunity for regional leaders to stay informed, build connections and prepare for the year ahead.

Registration information for the State of the Chamber event is available here.
