DAWN, a nonprofit serving survivors of domestic violence in South King County, will host its annual “May It Forward” fundraiser on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Renton Technical College.

The event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a VIP reception beginning at 4 p.m., according to event materials.

“This inspiring event is designed to connect you directly with dedicated team members, offering an intimate look at the lifesaving services and the critical work we do every day,” organizers said. “Hear a powerful story directly from a survivor whose journey illuminates the strength and resilience gained with your support.”

The event includes live jazz by Kareem Kandi World Orchestra, local wines, delicious appetizers, raffles, and a live auction.

Get your GOLDEN TICKET Raffle Ticket (only 100, get yours early) for a chance to win any one of the live auction packages!

Note: A GOLDEN TICKET Raffle Ticket gives you a chance to win your favorite auction package before the auction starts, but it is not admission to the event.

DAWN said the annual spring fundraiser supports programs that provide shelter, advocacy and essential services to individuals experiencing domestic violence.

Sponsors Needed

The organization is also seeking sponsors for the event, offering multiple sponsorship levels with benefits that include event recognition, promotional visibility and community engagement opportunities.

According to DAWN, sponsors help “make a direct impact on local communities” and support efforts to address critical needs while empowering those affected by domestic violence.

Community members and businesses interested in supporting the event or becoming sponsors can download the sponsor packet here or learn more at DAWN’s website.
