Kent Police are asking for the public’s help finding Nia Manasseh, a 58-year-old vulnerable adult who has been missing since early July, according to the Kent Police Department.
Police said Manasseh has mental health issues, and her family is very concerned. She was contacted by Kent police on July 9 and transported to a service provider in Kirkland. A short time later, Kent officers contacted her again at a bus stop near Lake Fenwick and Reith Road, according to the department.
Manasseh has a residence in the 1400 block of West Meeker Street, but police said she had been sleeping in her vehicle for unknown reasons. Her vehicle was found July 12 abandoned and unsecured in a downtown Kent parking lot, according to police.
Manasseh is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has green and brown eyes. Police said it is unknown what she was wearing.
Anyone with information about Manasseh’s whereabouts is asked to call the Kent police nonemergency line at 253-852-2121, or call 911 if the information is time sensitive.
Police also asked people not to leave tips in public comment sections because Manasseh is a vulnerable adult and the information should not be posted publicly.
