King County Councilmember Steffanie Fain will host a South King County Transportation Forum from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at Kent City Hall, giving residents a chance to hear about current and upcoming transit changes and ask questions directly of transportation leaders.
The forum, titled “South King County Transportation Forum: Kent,” will be held at Kent City Hall, 220 Fourth Ave South (map below).
The event is expected to include Kent Mayor Dana Ralph, King County Metro General Manager Michelle Allison, and representatives from Sound Transit and Kent Public Works.
Organizers said the forum will cover “what’s changing in Kent, what’s next,” and provide an opportunity for residents to talk directly with transportation leaders.
The event is being promoted as a chance for residents to bring questions about transit changes already underway and upcoming transportation plans affecting Kent and surrounding South King County communities, including SeaTac, Des Moines, Tukwila and Normandy Park.
