Reports that a swimmer drowned at Lake Meridian in Kent late Monday afternoon (July 23) was a false alarm, according to Puget Sound Fire.
Rescuers searched for the swimmer, who was said to be under the dock.
Divers did not recover a body, because it was a false alarm.
“No one found,” Captain Kyle Ohashi of Puget Sound Fire told I Love Kent. “We’re happy that person took time to notify us, though.”
