A driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after crashing into a truck towing a boat on northbound I-5 in Kent on Thursday afternoon, May 15, 2025.
The collision occurred near SR 516 at milepost 149 and blocked the two right lanes, causing traffic delays.
No injuries were reported.
Washington State Patrol troopers responded to the scene and arrested the driver of the car for suspected driving under the influence.
WSDOT advised drivers to expect congestion and seek alternate routes while cleanup and investigation efforts continued.
