WaveMAX Laundry is now open on Pacific Highway South in Kent and will celebrate a Grand Opening event on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026 beginning at 10 a.m.
The event will feature a ribbon cutting with Mayor Dana Ralph, a live radio remote from Movin’ 92.5, refreshments from Nana’s Southern Kitchen and exciting raffle give-aways.

WaveMAX owner Dametra Johnson-Marletti has enjoyed a long career as a sales and marketing executive with Microsoft, bringing some of their most popular consumer products to the public. When she was ready to open a new chapter in her life, she turned to a former Microsoft colleague who now consults with executives finding good matches in available franchise opportunities.
