Firefighters extinguished a residential fire in the 11500 block of SE 226th Place in Kent (map below) early Friday, Dec. 12, after flames broke through the roof of a double wide manufactured home, according to Puget Sound Fire.

Crews arrived to find active fire conditions and brought the blaze under control in about 40 minutes, Puget Sound Fire said.

No residents were home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, according to Puget Sound Fire.
