Puget Sound Fire crews responded to a car and semi-truck collision in the 22400 block of 83rd Ave South (map below), where firefighters had to use specialized equipment to free the driver, according to the department.

The driver suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

There was no indication of life‑threatening trauma.

The agency noted the incident in a post on its official X account, stating:

“Firefighters used specialized equipment to remove the driver. The driver was treated for moderate injuries and transported to a nearby hospital.” 

Details on the cause of the crash or information regarding the condition of the driver have not been released.
