The Kent Aerie #362 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles invites the local community to its membership drive on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kent Eagles (map below).

The evening will feature pulled pork sliders with sides for $10, along with a silent auction50/50 raffle, and a bottle raffle

All proceeds from the event will benefit Northwest Battle Buddies, a nonprofit organization that provides professionally trained service dogs to combat veterans at no cost to them.

Organizers hope guests will join them to learn more about the Kent Eagles, their mission, and their commitment to community service and charitable giving.

“This event is about opening our doors, welcoming new faces, and supporting an incredible cause,” said Shane Wilson, President of the Kent Eagles. “It’s a great opportunity for people to see what the Eagles are all about while helping make a real difference for local veterans.”

The Kent Eagles is a local fraternal organization dedicated to community involvement, charity, and fellowship.

“Events like our Membership Drive help introduce the organization to new community members while raising funds for important causes,” organizers said.
