Kent Police are investigating after an adult male was found deceased in Lake Fenwick on Monday afternoon, Mar. 23.

Kent Patrol officers and Puget Sound Fire crews responded around 12:33 p.m. after a witness called 911 to report a person face down in the water, according to the Kent Police Department.

Firefighters located the man, pulled him from the lake and determined he was deceased. Clothing believed to be associated with the individual was found nearby on the shore, police said.

The man has not yet been identified but is believed to be between 25 and 35 years old, according to police.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death and assist in identifying the victim.
