The Kent Police Department is inviting the community to share coffee and conversation with Chief Rafael Padilla, command staff and officers next week.
The “Coffee with the Chief” event will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Woods Coffee, 15610 SE 272nd Street, Suite B101, in Kent (map below).
Kent police said the gathering is meant to give residents a chance to meet department leadership in a casual setting and ask questions.
“Enjoy an amazing cup of coffee and great conversation with Chief Rafael Padilla, Kent PD Command Staff and Officers,” the department announced.
This free event is open to the public.
