Congrats to the Kentridge High School Chatelaines Dance Team, which recently won the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) 4A Dance/Drill State Championships!
The Chatelaine’s placed first in dance and show, and second in the kick routine.
“We defended our state titles in dance and show from last year and moved up from 3rd place in kick last year. We are also district champions in all three routines,” said coach Staci Mattson.
The Kentwood High Dance Team placed second in show and hip-hop. More than 20 high school teams from Washington competed in six categories at the championships.
