The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man found dead at Lake Fenwick earlier this week as Mussie Gebremichael, 34, of Kent.
Gebremichael was discovered March 23 at Lake Fenwick Park, according to the medical examiner.
The cause of death was drowning, and the manner of death was ruled a suicide.
As we previously reported, Kent Police responded to the park after a report of a person in the water and began an investigation into the incident.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office released the identification on Wednesday, Mar. 25 and cause and manner of death as part of its standard process.
The Kent Police Department remains the investigating agency.
