Two people are dead following a shooting at an apartment complex in Kent Monday night, July 14, 2025, according to Kent Police.
Officers responded just before 8:45 p.m. to reports of gunfire at an apartment in the 22400 block of Benson Road SE, near 224th Street.
At the scene, police found a man and a woman with fatal gunshot wounds. Sadly, the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information was released about their identities, potential suspects, or what led to the shooting.
Detectives are treating the incident as a criminal investigation.
As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
