Fender is RASKC’s Pet of the Week!

Fender is a 4-year-old male who was shy when he first arrived at the shelter in January but is now coming out of his shell. Fender has great leash skills and really enjoys a lazy walk. He also keeps a clean kennel which suggests that he is potty trained!
The way to Fender’s heart is a tennis ball. He absolutely loves to play fetch! He will even drop the ball in your lap so you can throw it for him again. Fender also enjoys butt scratches and will lean into you to tell you he wants more!
Fender is 77 pounds and may do best in home with teens and adults. He is a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. Fender may get nervous in new situations, so is looking for a family who understands that he might take some time to warm up. Once he gets to know you, he will be a very devoted friend!
Fender is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped! His adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the love and snuggles he will give, including 30 days of opt-in health insurance through Trupanion and a discount on training through GoodPup.
As Pet of the Week, Fender’s adoption fee has been reduced.
If you and your family are ready to fall in love with a pawesome dog, Fender may be the one for you!
You can visit Fender at RASKC on weekdays from Noon to 5 p.m., and weekends from Noon to 4 p.m.
