Authorities and family members are searching for 22-year-old Mary Immaculate Wambui Mureithi, a vulnerable adult who has been missing from her home on the west hill of Kent near 272nd since Jan. 13, 2025.

Mary was last seen by her parents on the evening of Jan. 12, and her disappearance has sparked growing concern for her well-being.
According to her family, Mary left home during the night without her keys, and calls to her cell phone go straight to voicemail. In the weeks leading up to her disappearance, Mary displayed unusual and concerning behaviors, including increased aggression, difficulty caring for herself, and memory problems. Police officers who had interacted with Mary in the past month believed she was experiencing a mental health crisis and helped her access resources. She received some services before she went missing.
Mary’s family is deeply worried about her health, as she had been on medication for a physical illness but did not complete the treatment. She has no friends or extended family in the area besides her parents and has occasionally attended a church at the 21600 block of Pacific Highway South for Bible study. Mary does not drive but is known to take the bus.
Mary is described as 5’5” tall, weighing 110 pounds, and she speaks with an accent as her family is originally from Kenya. It is unknown what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.
If you see Mary or have information about her whereabouts, you are asked to please call 911 immediately.
