From our sister site The Auburn Examiner:

Auburn Police are actively investigating the disappearance of 21-year-old Jackelin Perez, who has been missing since the evening of Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024.

Perez, who is six weeks pregnant and recently immigrated from Guatemala with her husband, speaks limited English.

Authorities have classified her disappearance as suspicious.

According to police, credible evidence suggests that Perez was taken from her home under duress, and detectives do not believe the incident was random. Despite following multiple leads, police have not yet located her.

Perez is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing 111 pounds, with a scar on her left cheek.

The Auburn Police Department is urging the public to assist in the search for Perez. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Auburn PD Tip Line at 253-288-7403.
