Overnight lane and ramp closures are planned along both directions of SR 167 in Kent starting Monday night, Sept. 21, to seal pavement cracks, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).
At least one lane of SR 167 will remain open, but delays are possible through the work zones each night.
Signed detours will guide people around ramp closures.
Closure Details:
The following closures start as early as 7 p.m. and last until 5 a.m. the next day:
Monday night, Sept. 21:
- Two lanes of northbound SR 167 between SR 516 and South 212th Street.
Tuesday night, Sept. 22:
- Two lanes of southbound SR 167 between 84th Ave South and South 277 Street.
Wednesday night, Sept. 23:
- Two lanes of northbound SR 167 between SR 516 and South 212th Street
- Northbound SR 167 off-ramp to SR 516
- SR 516 on-ramp to northbound SR 167
- Northbound SR 167 off-ramp to 84th Ave South
- 84th Ave South on-ramps to northbound and southbound SR 167
Thursday night, Sept. 24:
- Two lanes of southbound SR 167 between 84th Ave South and South 277 Street
- Southbound SR 167 off-ramp to 84th Ave South
- Southbound SR 167 off-ramp to SR 516
- SR 516 on-ramp to southbound SR 167
- Southbound SR 167 off-ramp to South 277th Street
This work is part of a regional project making pavement repairs at more than 70 locations in King, Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties. These improvements extend the life of the roadway and improve the driving surface.
