SAVE THE DATE: The 3rd annual Cajun Fest 2024 will bring Louisiana vibes to downtown Kent on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, from 2 – 7 p.m.

The Kent Downtown Partnership is the sponsor of this FREE, vibrant celebration of Cajun culture, music and cuisine, which promises to immerse attendees in the rich traditions of Louisiana with delicious food and drink, live music that’ll have you dancing, and a community spirit that’ll warm your soul.

Cajun Fest will take place at Burlington Green Park (map below).

Attendees can look forward to:

Live Zydeco and Blues Music: Experience the soul-stirring rhythms and melodies that define Louisiana’s musical heritage. The lineup for Cajun Fest ’24 includes Swamp Thang, Zydeco Locals, America’s First Corp Band (leading the Second Line Parade), Lady A, and Bayou Envie.
Authentic Cajun Cuisine: Indulge in a variety of Cajun dishes from Altha’s Cajun Spices, food trucks, and food stands offering everything from gumbo to po’ boys, ensuring a true taste of the Bayou. Featured food includes: Creole Soul, Po Boys n Tings, The Man BBQ, Where ya at Matt, Al’s Sausage, Jerk an Tingz, Puddin’ Cakes, Home Bites, Dirty Cajun Balls, and All City Ice Cream.
Beer Garden: Savor local beverages provided by 2 Towns Ciderhouse and Logan Brewing as well as selections of Washington wines in the beer garden.
Artist & Maker Stalls: Discover unique creations from local artists and makers, featuring everything from handmade candies to original artwork.
Kids Area: A designated space where younger attendees can enjoy entertainment designed just for them.
Second Line Parade: Join in the lively Second Line Parade, a cherished tradition in Cajun culture where participants dance and celebrate in the street.
