Torklift Central wrapped up its second annual “March of Diapers” drive with nearly 900 diapers, 17 packs of baby wipes, and $1,065 in cash donations collected for Akin – South King County Family Resource Center.

The month-long effort was part of the company’s continued commitment to supporting families in need across South King County. The donated funds will allow Akin to purchase additional diapers, wipes and other baby-care essentials for local families.

“Our lobby was filled with generosity,” the company said in a statement. “Whether you dropped off a single pack or made a financial contribution, you’ve made a real difference in a family’s life.”

The Kent-based business also praised Akin for its work in distributing supplies and supporting the community.

Although the March drive has ended, diaper need continues year-round. Torklift Central is encouraging ongoing support for Akin through direct donations at giving.classy.org.

“We’re proud to serve Kent—and prouder still to stand alongside our neighbors to make sure every child has what they need to thrive,” the company said.
