Kent’s Assistant Chief Rafael “Raf” Padilla was promoted to Police Chief by Mayor Dana Ralph at a traditional ceremony, where his wife, Commander Tracey Padilla, ‘pinned him’ at City Hall on Tuesday afternoon, May 15.

Padilla will be officially sworn during the Kent City Council meeting this evening.
