The Kent Chamber of Commerce will host its annual “Nonprofit Impact Luncheon” this Thursday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Green River College’s Kent campus (map below).
This festive, informative event will celebrate the vital contributions of local nonprofit organizations and highlight the spirit of giving during the holiday season.
The luncheon will feature a panel of inspiring speakers from the nonprofit sector, including Gwen Allen-Carston of the Kent Black Action Commission, Latasha Jackson-Rodriguez of Restore Assemble Produce (RAP Youth), and Lori Guilfoyle from the City of Kent Human Services.
A keynote speaker will deliver an address emphasizing the importance of community engagement and the transformative work of nonprofit organizations.
