Three nights of overnight single-lane closures at the intersection of SR 516 and Reith Road in Kent will start this Sunday, June 30, 2024, to install ADA-compliant curb ramps.

Contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will close the right lane of eastbound SR 516 and the right lane of northbound Reith Road from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. nightly Sunday, June 30, until Wednesday morning, July 3, for the curb improvements.

The right lane of westbound SR 516 also will close from 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, until 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, between Reith Road and Military Road for pothole repairs.

This work on SR 516 and Reith Road will likely complete construction on a regional pavement project that improved sections of SRs 18, 99 and 516 over the last two years.
