Volunteers are needed by the Kent Downtown Partnership (KDP) for Cajun Fest ’24, coming Saturday, Aug. 17, from 2–7 p.m.

“With live zydeco and blues, delicious Cajun food, and a beer garden, there’s only one thing left we need to make this event unforgettable—YOU!”

Whether you can help at the info booth, pitch in at the beer garden, or give a hand with cleanup, your enthusiasm is all the KDP needs.

As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in making this event a resounding success. Your support will contribute to the overall festive atmosphere.

“We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable and like to have fun!” orgnizers said. “No prior experience is required, as we will provide all necessary guidance. Volunteering at the Cajun Fest will not only allow you to contribute to the community but also provide an opportunity to make new friends and create lasting memories.”

Come out check out the vibe featuring an outstanding line up zydeco and blues bands, food trucks, beer garden, artists/vendors and more.

“Make some new connections and have fun.”
