The City of Kent and Kent Downtown Partnership are inviting residents to join a community cleanup event in downtown Kent this Saturday, Nov. 15 to help keep the city’s core looking its best.
The Downtown Clean Up will take place this Saturday from 9 a.m. to Noon, with volunteers gathering to pick up litter and refresh streets and sidewalks, according to a city announcement.
Participants are encouraged to bring gloves and a positive attitude to help make a visible impact on the community.
The city noted that the cleanup is also an opportunity to meet neighbors and contribute to a collective effort to beautify downtown Kent.
