Kent Police says that a lockdown at Panther Lake Elementary School Wednesday morning (Feb. 28) was a precautionary measure, and was not related to any activity at the school.
Officers responded to a dispute near the school on SE 208th Street, where a gun was involved.
“No one was injured and two were arrested,” Commander Jarod Kasner told iLoveKent.net.
All students at the school were safe, and the lockdown ended without incident.
