A crash on South 272nd Street, just east of Lake Fenwick Road (map below), left one person dead and another with life-threatening injuries on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024.
The accident prompted an emergency response from Puget Sound Fire, South King Fire and Rescue, and King County Medic One.
According to authorities, one individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was transported to a Seattle-area hospital with critical injuries.
The King County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation, and the road remained closed for several hours as investigators examined the scene.
No further details have yet been released about the cause of the accident or the identities of those involved.
