This pretty girl is Aerith, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:

Aerith is a two-year-old female who was brought to RASKC in early October and is now looking for her forever home! At 50 pounds, she’s considered a large-breed dog.

Aerith is very energetic and loves to play! She loves treats and will happily “sit,” “shake,” and “lay down” for them. Aerith would do best with lots of exercise and something to keep her mind busy.

Due to her high energy, she would thrive in a home without younger children. She is still working on her manners, so would do best with a family who is willing to work with her and help her become the best dog she can be. Aerith is a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality!

Aerith is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption comes with many benefits in addition to the love and snuggles she will give, including 30 days of opt-in health insurance through Trupanion and a discount on training through GoodPup.

As Pet of the Week, Aerith’s adoption fee is reduced!

If you are looking for an energetic girl to add to your family, Aerith may be the one for you! Visit Aerith at RASKC weekdays from Noon to 5 p.m. and weekends from Noon to 4 p.m. You can find out more about Aerith and her other canine buddies at

During the month of October, adoption fees for all dogs are $50 plus a licensing fee if applicable.
