Meet Danny, RASKC’s Pet of the Week:
Three-year-old Danny is described as a mix of German Shepherd and Siberian Husky. At 77 pounds, Danny is considered a large breed dog although he’s mostly legs, this is one tall boy!
Danny can be a bit shy at first but once he gets to know you, he will be a devoted friend! He hasn’t really shown much interest in toys or treats while he’s been at RASKC but may enjoy them more once he is in the comfort of his own home. Danny knows sit and shake (with both paws). A volunteer dog walker shared that Danny is a dream to walk and has excellent leash manners!
As Pet of the Week, Danny’s adoption fee is reduced! Danny is neutered current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Danny would do best in a calm, quiet home with a family willing to work with him on improving resource guarding his favorite people. His adoption comes with benefits above and beyond the love and companionship he will provide, including 30 days of opt-in health insurance through Trupanion and a discount on training through GoodPup.
If you are looking to add a gentle and loving dog to your family, come meet Danny! RASKC is open weekdays from Noon to 5 p.m. and weekends from Noon to 4 p.m.
