Puget Sound Fire, King County Medic One, and Kent Police responded to a car/pedestrian accident on 124th Avenue SE, south of Kent Kangley Road (map below) early Friday morning, Sept. 6, 2024.
Sadly, despite life-saving efforts of firefighters and paramedics, the female victim died at the scene.
Police said that at around 3:30 a.m. Friday morning, crews responded to a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the 27000 block of 124th Av SE.
Initial reports indicate the pedestrian, a 35-year-old female, was walking in the roadway when she was struck.
The adult driver remained on scene, and there are not any current indicators of impairment from the driver.
Investigators closed the road to process the collision scene and drivers were asked to avoid the area during the closure.
Despite life saving efforts of firefighters and paramedics, the pedestrian died at the scene.
