King County Election Resources for Local Voters
November 8, 2016, the first Tuesday in November, is Election Day across the country. In Washington, however, we do mail-in ballots now but there are accessible voting options and centers for voters who need help voting.
Here are some important voting resources in King County. Please share these resources with your friends, family and colleagues who will be voting this year.
Quick Facts
- Ballots will be mailed to registered voters on Oct. 19, earlier for overseas voters and those in the service.
- Ballot drop boxes will be open on Oct. 20. Drop boxes are open 24 hours a day from Oct. 20 until 8 PM on Election Day.
- Ballots may be dropped off without a stamp. Deadline: 8 PM on Election Day.
- Get your Voter Guide online. (Registered voters should receive one in the mail.)

- Ballot drop-off locations
- By mail: requires a first-class stamp. Must be postmarked by Nov. 8.
- Accessible voting options
- Accessible voting centers: Bellevue City Hall, King County Elections (Renton), and Seattle Union Station
- Track your ballot online.

Voter results
Election results will be posted, starting at 8:15 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
