The Kent Black Action Commission will be holding a Candidate Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at Kent Commons.
This free, open event will run from 6 – 9 p.m.
Invitations have gone out to candidates for the November general election to include; Candidates for State Senator and State Representative for both the 33rd and the 47th Districts including positions 1 an 2 for the 33rd. This is an opportunity for the citizens of Kent and South King County to gain first-hand knowledge of the people who are vying to hold public office and to represent your interest. We encourage all residents of Kent, King County, and other interested parties to attend!
The forum will consist of a candidate panel with a moderator directing questions to the individual candidates. As time permits, we will collect questions from those in attendance so that those questions can be compiled and asked of the candidates.
“As of this release we have received RSVPs for 8 of the eleven invitations.”
This event is free and open to the public and light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
