Kent Police are investigating the homicide of a 24-year-old Kent man found dead Friday morning, Feb. 7, 2025 near the Lake Fenwick Disc Golf Park.
Officers responded to a report at 9:26 a.m. and discovered the victim in a wooded area with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
Police said that initial evidence suggests the victim likely died last night or early Friday morning.
Detectives are actively gathering statements and evidence to identify a suspect and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an investigation to confirm the cause and manner of death.
