Get ready to heat up the streets of Downtown Kent at ‘Salsa in the Streets,’ coming Saturday, July 13, 2024.

This free event will run from 2 – 7 p.m. at Titus Railroad Park (map below).

Occurring in conjunction with Kent Cornucopia Days, this event promises to ignite the senses with live salsa music, a Santana tribute band, a beer garden and plenty of dance space.

Salsa in the Streets will transform 1st Ave S. into a vibrant experience, where people of all ages and backgrounds unite to experience salsa music and Latin American culture.

The heartbeat of the event will be the live salsa music performances by local bands Supersones, Elere Salsa, Mambo Cadillac, and Flor de Luna, who will keep the crowd grooving throughout the day.

For those looking to quench their thirst, the event will feature a beer garden serving up refreshing beverages from 23rd Ave Brewery and 2 Towns Ciderhouse in the Titus Railroad Park.

No festival is complete without delicious food! Salsa in the Streets will feature delicious Mexican food from Azteca Kent, Latin inspired pastries from Bakescapade, and beverages with a Latin twist from Cafe Calaveras!

Salsa in the Streets is free and open to the public, making it the perfect opportunity for friends and families to come together. So, mark your calendars, grab your dancing shoes, and get ready to salsa the day away at Salsa in the Streets!
