Recycle and declutter for free at Hogan Park

The City of Kent is hosting its annual Spring Recycling Collection Event on Saturday, March 18 at Hogan Park (24400 Russell Rd., Kent, WA) from 9 AM to 3 PM. The event is open to all King County residents, and is funded by grants from the Department of Ecology, King County Solid Waste Division, and the Local Hazardous Waste Management Program.

Residents are encouraged to bring items that aren’t easily recycled at the curb, including:

  • Appliances
  • Scrap metal
  • Toilets
  • Propane tanks
  • Reusable household goods
  • Tires
  • Bulky yard debris
  • Styrofoam

NOTE: Due to the cost of postage, the city will no longer be mailing flyers to announce the semiannual recycling events, so please help spread the word.
