Hundreds of dogs and cats will be ready for adoption at Kent Station.
Kent Station® will host an afternoon of furry fun dedicated to pets, owners and animal lovers alike on Saturday, August 5 from 11 AM to 3 PM.
Hundreds of adoptable cats and dogs will be on site with Reber Ranch, Pet Central, and Regional Animal Services of King County in partnership with animal shelters and rescue organizations. If you are looking for a new best friend or an addition to your family, come to Kent Station and adopt your pet and license them all in one stop. Pets and their owners, or future pet parents will enjoy:
- Raffles and samples
- Kent Police K9 demonstration at noon
- Pet product vendors
- Pet-friendly happy hour patios
All pets in Kent, whether outdoor or indoor, are required by law to be licensed. With the funds raised from pet licenses, Kent partners with Regional Animal Services of King County to conduct animal cruelty investigations, operate animal shelters, provide resources to address vicious animal complaints and care for injured or lost animals. Last year, more than 7,000 animals were taken in and cared for by King County. With dozens of licensing locations across King County and most annual licenses costing only $30, it’s easy to do the right thing for your pet and your community. Buy yours in advance at KentPetLicense.com.
Dog Daze and Feline Fantasies is organized by the City of Kent, Kent Station®, Reber Ranch, Pet Central and Regional Animal Services of King County.
